In fact, taking into consideration the styling, unique features, and Cartier brand, this unit can arguably be known as a fantastic bargain. Not only can it be a fantastic job of conveying luxury and sporty ruggedness, in addition, it comes with all the quality warranties you would expect only from an international luxury brand for example Cartier.I’ve been beginning to attempt to branch out towards watches witha non-round form. I have owned a couple of rectangular watches, like some Longines Dolce Vita plus some others here and there, but I really wanted to try out a Tonneau shaped watch, apart from the knock-offs which folks offer you as presents when they visit China. So I began first with a Franck Muller Casablanca, which I liked, but it was a bit too sterile and fundamental searching for me I think, considering that I was used to the complicated busy dials of Breitling. Then I saw that the Roadster again… Its a watch that I always admired and enjoyed the design of, and together with my preferences maturing along with the need to have something a bit more understated for company, the Roadster appeared perfect. Nevertheless a recognizable icon at the watch business, with a little more identity than a Rolex. I snapped one up.The Roadster is a very well designed watch, using a three-peice case. Tonneau shaped but a bit shorter than a Franck Muller from lug to lug. The Big Mens size model I bought is 38mm x 43mm, not including the crown molding. It wears very near a typical 40mm Rolex. The versions I picked up as the oldeer style dial, but still looks fantastic in my opinion. All the pictures were shot with my new Sony A200 camera with all the Kit lens.
I imagine several people were thrown by the black rubberized band (not exactly typical Cartier personality), but it must have been apparent what I was wearing. If anything, I felt like I was adorning a Las Vegas approved timepiece – vital to ensuring you are correctly received by tip hopeful helpers. You do not always need “stealth wealth,” and about the “detect my fine watch list” must always be a Cartier. Cartier does not load the Roadster S with many openings, but it doesn’t overlook either.Price for your Cartier Roadster S is $4,200 as noticed on a rubber band, and $4,600 onto a steel strap. You may even purchase them direct from Cartier through their e-boutique online. This might not be a new and fascinating timepiece for everyone, but for me it is an all-time favorite, that I’ve yet to write about. The Cartier Roadster had been a “Holy Grail” watch for me for quite a very long time. Rest assured my crusade wasn’t in vain, I’ve made my conquest and this watch rests in my private collection. I didn’t consider this for a grail watch because of some technical prowess, or radical complication, the atmosphere was purely about design and style. Being the auto aficionado that I am, when I first laid eyes on this particular watch and understood its nuances, I was captivated. I knew that I would have to have this item of beauty. It was unmistakably the most intriguing watch I had seen.Released in 2001 The roadster was a fairly big departure in design for Cartier, although they’ve always been known for bold and eye-grabbing bits. Noticeably missing from this bit were the traditional roman numerals that the Cartier micro script and the Cartier logo, these attributes aren’t found anywhere on this watch.
Barrel-shaped case made from stainless steel. Solid construction with a triple link bracelet made up of brushed centre links. This model also has an interchangeable band (toile-linen). Roman numerals. Does this view obviously powerful and brings to mind all the excitement of a busy sporting lifestyle, it retains the refinement and course you’d expect from any genuine Cartier. Its elegant lines and overall production polish leave no doubt that this product is a Cartier product. This view, in keeping with other luxury watches of its class and caliber, is powered exclusively by your arm’s movement. That is what separates true luxury from pretenders. This watch Swiss precision is simply amazing and can be nothing short of everything you would expect from a manufacturer with Cartier’s status. While several other luxury watches are water-resistant to depths as low as 1000 feet and most are scratch-resistant, not all these other watches are placed together as easily and as ‘readily’ as the Cartier Men’s W62019X6 Roadster Automatic Chronograph Watch. There seems to be an ‘simple luxury’ to how this version puts all of its special features together.
While the Cartier Men’s W62019X6 Roadster Automatic Chronograph Watch is not just inexpensive, you really do get what you pay for. In fact, taking into consideration the styling, unique features, and Cartier manufacturer, this unit may arguably be known as a great bargain. Not only can it be a great job of conveying luxury and sporty ruggedness, it also includes all the quality warranties you would expect only from a global luxury brand for example Cartier.I’ve been beginning to attempt to branch out towards watches witha non-round shape. In the above pic you can view the blued steel hands and Luminous dots on the inner dial. The crown isn’t screwdown, so when you wind it you can just flip it.The bracelet is a gorgeous peice of work, with screwed in pins, in a very distinctive style. There are just two screws on both sides, and when you eliminate them, you push a pin out of the center. The watch is polished, but the bracelet is brushed in the center links. Here is a snapshot of the trunk, showing a little more of the bracelet, and notice the way the look of the crown even lumps on the back of this watch. This is a really nice attention to detail. The obligatory wrist shot… revealing what it looks like in my own 6 3/4″ wrist. The bracelet sizes somewhat loose on me. Regrettably with those dual butterfly clasps there is a micro adjustment accessible, and many don’t have half-links either.nd here’s a rare movement shot of this Cartier Roadster. The rotor is decorated using the Roadster emblem, which will be a nice touch, instead of simply a generic Cartier signed rotor, which makes this particular to only this model of watch. As you may see there’s plenty of round graining on the bridges too. In general, a beautiful watch indoors and outside. I will be enjoying mine!
