Introducing The rotonde de cartier minute repeater flying tourbillon replica watch

The rotonde de cartier minute repeater flying tourbillon replica watch as an absolutely magnificent combination of Cartier of the old (think the best designs of the 20th century) and Cartier of the new (just absolutely insane high watchmaking of the 21st century).

Cartier fine watchmaking is nothing to sneeze at. Don’t believe us, check out the rotonde de cartier replica above.  You are looking at Cartier’s first minute repeater, shown to us in New York at a special preview earlier this month and officially released to the public today.

This minute repeater (with flying tourbillon) was developed completely in-house by Cartier and shares no traits with any other Richemont product, or anything from APRP.  It is sized at 45mm and the incredible caliber 9402 MC uses 447 pieces to produce a minute repeater with a sound level of an incredible 68 decibels in titanium and 63 when housed in rose gold.

Titanium was used for the case because it offers the highest gong mass to case mass ratio, allowing for optimal ressonance when the repeater is activated.  You’ll also notice that this repeater is not slide activated, but instead activated with a push-button. According to Cartier, only 20 of these watches can be produced per year.  The price will be roughly 220,000 euro’s in titanium, and 225,000 euro in pink gold.

What is perhaps most interesting is that Cartier actually designed this watch to be water resistant to 30 meters.  Why? So that people can actually wear it!  Great stuff from Cartier Fine Watchmaking, made even more impressive by the fact that it only took them four years to produce a cartier replica watches minute repeater while other great brands (we’re looking at you over there in Glashutte) still don’t have one.
